Ivette was born and raised in Puerto Rico and since a young age showed love and compassion to all animals. Finding herself wanting to take home all the homeless animals, she knew that her career had to be around pets. Ivette had the opportunity to be spokesperson and voice of pet’s local PR newspapers and adoption groups. One of Ivette’s biggest concern is the lack of proper animal welfare education in our schools. She lives by what Ghandi once said: “the greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” Ivette had the opportunity to work many years at a vet clinic and as PetsHotel Manager for PetSmart before she moved to the USA in 2014. She currently combines her passion for animals with photography. Her happy place is with her family that is composed of her two children, and her two dogs, Jollie and Apollo. Ivette enjoys educating other pet parents to properly care for their pet and showing them basic dog training commands to establish a better bond. Ivette has been with the NVA family as part of the management team for PetSuites Resorts since May 2018 where currently embraces the role of General Manager for PetSuites Greensboro, NC.
